DAY 01 ARRIVAL HO CHI MINH CITY (SAIGON) (DINNER)
Upon arrival at Tan Son Nhat international airport, you will meet and greet by our local representative then transfer for hotel check in. However, hotel standard check in time starts from 1400 hours, early check into hotel rooms are subject to hotel room availabilities or at hotel’s own discretions. Enjoy free time for shopping bargains at BenThan Tourists’ Market ~ the largest market in Ho Chi Minh City. Guests may rejuvenate at the local SPA with an aromatic massage or body treatment (optional items) or simply relax at the local coffee shop for a cup of VIETNAMESE COFFEE which is brewed fresh on your table in a little metal apparatus placed over a cup; just lift it off when it has cooled enough to touch (and hence drink). Brief introductions of UNCLE HO CHI MINH (19 May 1890 – 2 September 1969) ~ He was a Vietnamese Marxist revolutionary leader who was prime minister (1945–1955) and president (1945–1969) of the Democratic Republic of Vietnam (North Vietnam).
Uncle Hồ led the Việt Minh independence movement from 1941 onward, establishing the communist-governed Democratic Republic of Vietnam in 1945 and defeating the French Union in 1954 at Điện Biên Phủ. The capital of South Vietnam, Saigon, after the Fall of Saigon, was renamed Hồ Chí Minh City in honor of the nationalist leader.
DAY 02 HCMC (SAIGON) > CU CHI TUNNEL > HCMC (SAIGON) (BREAKFAST, LUNCH & DINNER)
After breakfast, pick up from hotel as per schedule for full day sightseeing tour activities. Tour programs highlights of for the day ~ CUCHI Tunnels, enjoy a scenic drive along the countryside which takes approximately 40 minutes (35KM) to reach CUCHI town. CUCHI Tunnels are approximately 220KM, stretches from the outskirts of Ho Chi Minh City until the Cambodian Boarders. The tunnels and networks were several floors deep with numerous trap doors, built with living rooms, kitchens, hospitals, weapon storage compartments and combat command centre. Local tour guide will bring you to explore some of the tunnels that remain unchanged and see plenty of evidence of the fierce battles that took place here.
Transfer back to HO CHI MINH CITY (HCMC) for lunch served at local restaurants. After lunch continue for Saigon city sightseeing tours with attractions includes War Remnants Museum formerly known as the Exhibition House of American War Crimes ~ a major tourist attraction which primarily contains exhibits relating to the American phrase of the Vietnam War, with display outside the building of various U.S. military hardware like tanks, jets, helicopters and howitzers. Within walking distance to Reunification Palace ~ the workplace of the former President of South Vietnam, was then known as Independence Palace, Notre Dame Cathedral ~ the spiritual and cultural crucible of the French presence in the Orient & the General Post Office, an ancient building with French colonial architecture style which still operates as post office in current day.
We will stop by at MS AO DAI CENTRE & PHUONG NAM FINE ART AND LACQUERWARE FACTORY to learn and understand Vietnamese fine arts. Local tour guide will escort guests to explore local shopping malls & markets in DISTRICT 01 such as SAIGON SQUARE MARKET abounds with postcards, T-shirts, silk scarves, ethnic print coin purses, embroidered bags, satin slippers, throws, carved figurines and much more. Dong Koi Street where designer shops sit cheek-by-jowl with boutiques, galleries, antique shops and jewelry stores. After dinner transfer back to hotel, tour programs end.
DAY 03 HCMC > MYTHO (MEKONG RIVER DELTA) > DEPART HCMC (BREAKFAST, LUNCH & DINNER)
After breakfast, pick up from hotel as per scheduled for sightseeing tour activities to My Tho ~ Mekong River Delta, 75 km away from HCMC is the capital city and municipality of Tiền Giang Province, located in the region of southern Vietnam. It is a popular starting point for tourists to take a boat trip on the MEKONG RIVER. The small wooden vessels can navigate the mighty Mekong (barely), but the target for most trips is cruising past pleasant rural villages through the maze of small canals.
We will experience boat ride along MEKONG RIVER to Bao Dinh natural canal then continue with boat trips around the 04 beautiful islands named as Dragon, Unicorn, Pheonix, Tortoise islands. Enjoy sampan boat ride under the shadow of the sea-coconut palms along the tiny canals in Ben Tre province and walking through the villages, visiting bee farms and home industry of coconut candy processing, local villagers with cheerful smile invite guests to sample taste of fresh fruits right in their orchards and entertain them with Vietnamese folk music performance. Trekking through the fruit plantations on the island, enjoy the boat ride along the creeks before returning to My Tho by motorized boat. Continue journey back to HCMC for lunch also shopping bargains at BenThan Tourists’ Market. FREE DAY AT OWN LEISURES.
DAY 04 DEPART HCMC (BREAKFAST)
Local tour guide will assemble all guests as per agreed scheduled for transfer services back to airport for flight home with “SWEET MEMORIES”.
